Opening Dates & Guidelines by Province

As provincial governments begin to announce their plans to re-open, golf courses have found themselves among the first group of businesses to get the green light with new guidelines and restrictions in place. Details below. 

British Columbia - open

Saskatchewan - open May 15

Manitoba - open

Ontario - announcement expected May 14

  • Golf courses not allowed to open yet, but Ford announced on Friday, May 1, that they can "begin preparations to open". Details here

Quebec - open as of May 20

New Brunswick - open

Nova Scotia 

  • Driving ranges permitted to be open as of May 1; golf courses must remain closed but operators can begin preparation to open. More to come.
