Teaching Professional: Tour Development Academy
The Tour Development Academy (TDA) is seeking a motivated and experienced Teaching Professional to join our esteemed team of instructors. TDA is situated at Savage Creek Driving Range & Golf Course in Richmond, British Columbia, one of Canada’s busiest driving ranges.
This strategic location presents an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and development. The Academy offers both indoor and outdoor hitting bays, equipped with TrackMan 4 launch monitors, Smart2Move Dual Force Plates, SwingCatalyst video analysis software with crystal clear high-def slow motion cameras, and a professional scheduling system for online lesson bookings. TrackMan 4 simulators are utilized for comfortable indoor training throughout the winter.
Additionally, the facility has a golf course on-site for playing lessons, as well as outdoor short game areas, featuring a real grass 18 hole putting course.

- Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality private and group instruction to golfers of all levels. If the candidate has a clientele niche, that can be welcomed and discussed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in swing mechanics, short game, and course management skills.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with students and colleagues.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment by demonstrating enthusiasm and energy during lessons.
- Qualifications

• PGA of Canada Member in good standing - Apprentice or Class “A”.
• Proficient in the understanding of the golf swing and short game.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience is required. Candidates with less than two years of experience must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the golf swing and short game.
• A background in competitive golf is highly valued, but not a requirement.
- Compensation

Instructors at TDA typically retain 65–75% of their revenue and regularly take home $70,000–$110,000+ annually, with potential to exceed this as your clientele grows. Full compensation details will be shared with potential candidates.
Of our two most recent coaches to join the Academy, one has gone from having zero students less than a year ago when they joined TDA, to now regularly taking home over $10,000 per month. The other coach has tripled their full-time revenue since making the switch to TDA, less than 7 months ago.
