Teaching Professional: Nicklaus North Golf Course

Snowcapped Whistler peaks. A brilliant emerald-colored lake. Majestic fir trees. Fresh, invigorating mountain air. This is the setting that inspired the great Jack Nicklaus to create a golf course as unique as himself.

This par 71, 18-hole course winds along a gentle valley floor offering you a spectacular setting as your golfing skills are tested to the fullest. Winner of numerous awards since its opening in 1995, Nicklaus North has played host to events such as the PGA Skins Game and Shell's Wonderful World of Golf - welcoming some of golf's biggest names.

Job Summary
Nicklaus North Golf Course is open from early May – mid October. The Cabin, Nicklaus North Golf Academy’s state of the art indoor/outdoor facility includes two bays and is open year-round. The Teaching Professional will be a dynamic constant-learner with a background in golf instruction, club fitting and social media.
Responsibilities
  • Engaging our members and guests in an authentic charismatic way.
  • Coaching scheduled classes and club fitting sales.
  • Create and deliver social media content directly with the Director of Instruction.
Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  •  Minimum one year of golf instruction - group, individual, junior and adult.
  • Passionate about golf instruction and club fitting.
  • Exceptional with sales and service; goes above and beyond naturally. Fantastic ability to close.
  • Product knowledge of Ping, TaylorMade, Callaway, and Titleist.
  • Friendly and outgoing. Contributes to a cohesive team environment.
  • Experience with Trackman and technology is an asset.
  • Member in good standing with a PGA association preferred, but not required.
  • Social media skill set is an asset.

Compensation
  • Monthly salary range of $4000 - $4500 based on experience plus bonuses based on sales targets.
