Fraserview Golf Academy is going through exciting growth and requires a qualified instructor/coach for the 2024 season. We operate an active, year-round academy at one of Canada's busiest public access golf courses, catering to a wide variety of students in the Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond catchment areas. Practice and teaching areas include a 36-stall, covered driving range, several shortgame practice areas and access to an 18-hole championship length golf course.

Job Summary

Full-time golf instructor working with golfers of varying skill level, ages and backgrounds with active involvement in a large junior golf program.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, self-starter who has proven skills and passion for helping golfers improve and for working effectively within a team environment. Training and on-going professional development will be provided.

Qualifications

• Class ‘A’ member in good standing, or Candidate for Membership with the PGA of Canada.

• Completion of NCCP Instructor of Beginner Golfers.

• Excellent attitude and desire for professional development.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Additional skills that will be beneficial:

- Customer service experience.

- Time management and organizational skills.

- Experience with juniors and youth.

- Experience with a launch monitor and video programs.

- Knowledge of club fitting and social media.
