Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Golf Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of instructional techniques for juniors, adults and performance athletes.

As a Golf Instructor at Salazar Golf Academy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and enthusiasm of our diverse student base.

 Experience Level: Mid-level

Responsibilities

 1. Conduct Junior Golf Camps:

• Work with our seasoned instructors and collaborate to provide the best instruction available.

• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to promote skill development and love for the game.

• Evaluate and track the progress of junior golfers and provide constructive feedback.

2. Teach Adult Clinics, Ladies Learn to Golf:

• Follow personalized instruction programs catering to the specific needs and goals of adults.

• Be welcoming and inclusive in a fun learning environment for adults of all skill levels.

• Be able to offer guidance on technique, strategy, and mental aspects of the game.

3. Work with Performance Athletes:

• Provide advanced coaching for performance athletes looking to elevate their game to the next level.

• Implement cutting-edge training methods to enhance physical fitness and golf-specific skills.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians to keep them informed of progress and upcoming programs.

• Address inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Golf Instructor.

PGAC or LPGA - CGTF/USGTF/certification.

• USKIDS certified preferred or willing to be certified

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to tailor instruction to various age groups and skill levels.

• Proven track record of success in teaching juniors, adults, and competitive athletes.

• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.

• Police background check is required.

Compensation

Guaranteed base salary. To be negotiated. 

Compensation Range $9,600- 50,000

 

Benefits/Perks
  • Revenue split for private lessons and competitive base salary for junior camps.
Employment Duration

 Seasonal contract - May to October 2024 Hours:

Minimum 30 hours per week

July and August 9am-4pm for Junior Camps.

Teaching hours will be available, May to October, dependant on demand.
