Teaching Professional: Oasis Greens Golf Centre

Oasis Greens Golf Centre is a magnificent golf facility located in South Calgary complete with 65 spacious tee stations, 40 of those are sheltered c/w lighting and overhead heated which means we can be open regardless of weather. The actual tee line is massive being approx. 700’ in length and 26-1/2 ‘ wide enabling easy flow of customer traffic and areas where the instructors can pull their students aside and demonstrate proper swing techniques.

With three of the largest and fastest growing communities in Calgary (Belmont, Legacy and Seton) located next door to Oasis Greens Golf Centre and other residential developments underway, it makes for a extremely busy driving range. We also have the largest "Championship" Miniature Golf Course in Western Canada serving families, social groups, corporate team building, tournaments, etc. which has developed its own following and has become a big destination point for many, manymini golf enthusiasts.

Job Summary
The Oasis Greens is seeking a Teaching Professional for the 2026 golf season. Our driving range has premier quality artificial tee mats and we use a superior range ball. The Teaching Professional will be teaching the majority of the lessons inclusive of private, group, Junior Golf, etc. throughout the season on a scheduled basis ensuring peak periods are covered. It is a great opportunity for someone who is committed, enthusiastic and organized and wants to fully experience the joys of providing quality golf instruction and witnessing the results.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver golf instruction across multiple formats:
    • Private lessons
    • Group lessons
    • Junior golf programs
  • Manage and teach lessons on a scheduled basis, ensuring coverage during peak hours
  • Demonstrate proper swing techniques and provide hands-on coaching to students
  • Build and maintain a personal book of business (client base)
  • Deliver a high-quality instructional experience and track student improvement
  • Utilize facility features (large tee line, training space) to enhance teaching delivery
  • Contribute to overall customer experience at a high-traffic driving range
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada Class "A" Member in good standing
  • Strong commitment, enthusiasm, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and reliability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (required)
  • Passion for teaching and developing golfers of varying skill levels
  • Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively
  • Entrepreneurial mindset (ability to grow lessons and revenue)

Commission Based (Semi-monthly Commissions- $0-$5,000)
