Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Golf Operations, the Supervisor, Golf Operations assists in overseeing the daily functionality of all golf operations, including the Golf Shop, Driving Range and Outside Services. This role provides direct leadership to the Golf Cart Attendant and Driving Range Attendant teams, ensuring exceptional guest service standards, efficient daily operations, and proper execution of procedures. The Supervisor will play an integral role in tournament and event setup, tear down and staff coordination.
Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily supervision of all golf operations employees
  • Oversee and lead the Golf Cart Attendants and Driving Range Attendants
  • Monitor and maintain general cleanliness, presentation and organization of driving range, golf carts, rental clubs etc.
  • Manage the Driving Range picking schedule
  • Manage the Driving Range golf ball inventory
  • Oversee the appearance, usability and rotation of the golf cart fleet
  • Communicate effectively with the Senior Manager, Sales and Events to assist with golf tournament set up, execution and tear down
  • Oversee and lead employees during golf tournaments
  • Assist in training and developing employees
  • Assist in the creation and management of employee schedules
  • Execute the set up and programming of the tee sheet and online reservation systems
  • Daily supervision and management of the tee time reservation system
  • Be knowledgeable of all products for sale in the Golf Shop
  • Merchandise and monitor Golf Shop inventory
  • Execute sales for green fees, driving range, merchandise, clubs and rentals
  • Supervise and assist with the course pace of play and golf etiquette
  • Handle in-person comments and complaints relevant to golf operations
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by the demands of the facility
  • Knowledge of Club Prophet or other POS systems is an asset
Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in golf operations, or in a similar role or industry, is required
  • Valid Basic First Aid, with CPR-C and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment
  • Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is an asset
  • PGA of Canada member in good standing is an asset
