The Mill Woods Golf Club is a public golf course located just south of the busy Whitemud Drive in South Central Edmonton. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Merchandising and Media Professional with a love for creating experiences and engaging personably with our golfers. The Milly brand is symbolic of community, excitement, laughter, and a love for the game of golf and all it encompasses. Knowledge and experience in media, content creation, marketing and merchandising are essential. Club fitting certification is an asset, TCCP levels 1 & 2 are required. - Responsibilities

Pro Shop:
During hours in the Pro Shop the M&M Professional will be expected to but not limited to:
- Report to the Head Golf Professional
- Book tee times and check golfers in
- Direct Back Shop staff and Outdoor Services staff in the manner of hospitality and golfer experience
- Sell merchandise
- Sell driving range buckets and passes
- Engage with the golfers in a welcoming and polite manner
- Present themselves in a Professional manner through communication and attire
- Be a representative of the Club in the manner of on-course/golfer needs
Creative:
The M&M Professional will be expected to but not limited to:
- Manage creative content both online and on social media platforms
- Build and manage website and content within
- Engage in on-course promotions and events
- Manage merchandising and display rotation in the retail space constantly creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere
- Teach individual golf lessons
- Teach group golf lessons and clinics
- Nurture and build the Mill Woods GC brand #milly
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Class A Professional
- Minimum 5 years of golf industry experience
- Merchandising and purchasing experience required
- Social media management experience required (Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite)
- Website management experience an asset (Shopify, WordPress, or similar)
- Knowledge of Tee-on POS an asset
- Completion of TCCP 1 & 2 required
- Strong photography, videography, and communication skills
- Passion for golf culture, creativity, and community engagement
- Compensation
- $3,600 - $6,500 commensurate with industry experience.
