Responsibilities

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Responsible for optimizing the financial performance and oversee the day to day operations of the Department; including but not limited to Golf Shop, Golf Outdoor Services.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of approved budgets for the Golf operation with direction of the Director.
  • Monitor performances metrics. Assists in making business decisions related to group bookings/offerings, membership products, pricing and products.
  • Creates and fosters the team. Includes hiring, scheduling, uniforms ordering, creates and maintains rewards & recognition programs, conducts performance reviews. Builds a culture of corrective coaching and supports leadership team through these conversations.
  • Work closely with the Manager, Golf Maintenance with regards to maintenance issues related to Golf operations, as well as other key stakeholder such as Retail and Food and Beverage leadership.
  • Responsible for creating, implementing and evolving in depth training manuals, operation manuals, and safety manuals for Golf. Create and maintain an auditing process of training outcomes. Develop insight from the audit to continue to raise standards of the training program for all areas.
Qualifications

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Professional Golf Management and/or Business Administration; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory or management experience in a golf operation
  • Strong computer skills; experience working with POS, Windows, Excel, Word and Database
  • Must hold a valid G2 driver’s license
