- Job Summary
- The Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto is seeking an energetic, customer-centric professional to join our golf leadership team as Lead Associate Golf Professional. Reporting directly to the Director of Golf, the successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in daily golf operations, member engagement, event execution, and staff supervision. This position is ideally suited for an ambitious golf professional looking to advance their career, refine their operational and instructional skill set, and thrive in a vibrant private club environment.
- Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership: Assist in leading day-to-day golf operations, delivering warm, highly personalized service to members and guests across all operational touchpoints.
- Staff Supervision & Development: Lead, train, and mentor back shop and outdoor service staff to ensure high operational standards for bag storage, power carts, and electronic walking cart maintenance.
- Event & Tournament Management: Oversee the organization, scoring, and execution of club events, leagues, and member-guest tournaments using Golf Genius.
- Retail & Fitting Operations: Participate in golf shop merchandise presentation, inventory control, and custom club fitting using modern performance technology.
- Instruction & Player Development: Provide high-quality golf instruction, clinics, and coaching to members of all skill levels, maintaining active involvement in playing golf with the membership.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with Agronomy, Food & Beverage, and Club Administration to deliver seamless, top-tier service across the property.
- Qualifications

- Class A Member in good standing
- 2–4 years of professional experience within a high-end private or semi-private facility.
- Proficiency with industry software, including Jonas Club Management, Golf Genius, and Microsoft Office, as well as experience with launch monitor systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to lead and motivate seasonal team members.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to personal professional development within the golf industry.
- Compensation

- Base Salary: $65,000 annually
- Teaching Revenue: 100% of personal golf instruction revenue
