- Job Summary
- The Golf Performance Project (GPP) is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Assistant Coach to support our junior development programs in a part-time role starting in spring 2026. With hours ranging from 20 to 40 per week seasonally, you will work closely with our management team and Junior Lead Coach to deliver high-performance training for our college pathway program and new golfer pathway. You'll benefit from direct mentorship and guidance from our experienced team of golf experts, who are dedicated to fostering your professional growth in a merit-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong playing skills and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of golfers.
- Responsibilities

- Assist in coaching sessions for junior golfers, focusing on skill development, technique refinement, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the Junior Lead Coach and management to design and implement training plans for high-performance and beginner pathways.
- Monitor and analyze golf statistics to provide data-driven feedback and progress reports.
- Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages growth and enjoyment of the game.
- Support administrative tasks related to program scheduling, equipment setup, and participant communication.
- Conduct on-course coaching and monitor short game facility activities.
- Qualifications

- Prior experience working with junior golfers is a valuable asset.
- Strong communication skills to interact with athlete parents.
- Strong understanding of player development principles and long-term athlete progression.
- Excellent playing skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques effectively.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and focus.
- In-depth knowledge of golf statistics, tracking tools, and performance metrics.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring young athletes and promoting inclusive golf experiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning, such as attendance at golf-specific seminars, education summits, or higher education in related fields.
- Compensation
- Hourly wage ranging from $21 to $25, based on experience and qualifications, equivalent to a monthly range of $1,680 to $4,000 depending on hours worked.
