Job Summary
This individual will be essential to our success and a big part of what makes our experience Unique. This leadership role oversees the daily operation of the outside service team, including staff management, practice facility operations, member/guest service, and more. The successful candidate will ensure the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork while fostering a culture that reflects The Avalon Club’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Day to day operations of the club,
  • Monitoring outside services staff
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a service-driven team of golf professionals and support staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service through daily interaction with members and guests around the club.
  • Collaborate with management and club leaders to deliver memorable event experiences
  • Maintain a highly visible, approachable, and member-first presence.
  • Build strong relationships through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Assisting in executing member & outside events
  • Ensure all staff are always adhering to club policy and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Maintain a well-respected and professional image within the club, industry, and the community
  • Familiarity with golf industry technology platforms (e.g., Golf Genius, POS systems, tee time management software)
  • Club Fitting using Trackman technology
Qualifications
  • Member of the PGA of Canada considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • An outgoing personality and genuine enthusiasm for engaging with people.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to going above and beyond.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with an eye for the small touches that elevate the experience.
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to grow alongside the club.
  • Strong playing ability is considered an asset
