adidas Golf is looking for an Independent Territory Sales and Marketing Agent to join our team to manage the golf wholesale business in Saskatchewan and Manitoba and is 100% commission based. This role manages the Green Grass, Independent Off Course and sporting good accounts in the two provinces.

This would be a great role for a current sales agent looking to add a line or a new sales professional looking to start an agency.

Job Summary
adidas is the 2nd largest sports brand in the world and one of the leading golf brands in the golf market. Our golf apparel, footwear and accessories are industry leading and consistently rate as market share leaders in Canada. This role works closely with the Western Canadian Sales leader to support our customers in the market and create growth in territory.
Responsibilities
  • Full ownership and accountability for the account planning, management and in-field activation, to drive the annual booking and sales targets defined for the territory
  • Ensure order writing deadlines are achieved, and constantly proactively manage the open order book for account base
  • Manage all sales and product in adherence with trade investment programs
  • Ensure key product and brand stories are activated at retail to win the consumer
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and consumers, delivering high service levels
  • Execute product knowledge training sessions and educational training seminars for account base
  • Attend all sales meetings, trade and consumer events as required
  • Drive ongoing communication from the marketplace to Sales Leadership
  • Submit periodic territory sales forecasts as required

Key Relationships:

  • Build and foster relationships with key teams in Canada: Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, Sales
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills with strong command of the English language
  • Direct sales experience and a proven track record for delivering results
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with diverse account base
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while working autonomously
  • Very strong work ethic
  • Working knowledge of the golf industry and understanding key players within the market
  • Proficiency in software applications such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to travel on a regional basis

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of territory sales experience, preferably within the golf industry
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as an independent sales agent
  • University or college graduate in related field preferred
Compensation
  • 100% commission based (estimate on monthly commission would be $1,800-$2,000)
