HR Generalist

Job Summary
You will provide guidance and assistance to employees and management on relevant human resource issues. Duties will include assisting in all department areas such as employee relations, training and development, health and safety, recruitment as well as ensuring ClubLink’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and operating procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Act as an advisor and coach to managers on employee relations issues, researching issues and providing guidance on effective issue management strategies.
  • Receive and provide feedback on queries from employees about HR policies and procedures for resolution.
  • Coordinate training for employees, whether via workshops or on-line and monitor compliance as required. Help maintain proper employee files and records as needed.
  • Work with other department personnel on the preparation and deployment of effective communications about HR and/or company related matters.
  • Support recruitment and employee onboarding.
  • Spearhead HR projects as required.

Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a college/university degree in a related discipline.
  • Completion of or working toward CHRP designation is considered an asset. 1-2 years of previous related experience.
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll software is an asset. Strong organizational, planning, and self-management skills.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral).
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
