Oakdale Golf & Country Club was founded in 1926 with a vision to create a world-class club rooted in exceptional golf, camaraderie and enduring tradition. The original nine holes were designed by Stanley Thompson, with the final nine added in 1957 by Robbie Robinson, creating the 27-hole layout members enjoy today. Oakdale offers 27 holes of world-class golf along with a pool, tennis, pickleball, indoor simulators, fitness and full practice facilities. In 2023, the Club hosted the RBC Canadian Open, won by Nick Taylor.

Key elements for the role would include the following:
LEAD - Curate industry-leading programs for all members and collaborate with the Director of Golf and Professional Team to identify member needs, promote programming and strengthen participation.
TEACH - Deliver engaging private, semi-private and group instruction using TrackMan, video analysis and current training aids to provide understandable, evidence-based feedback.
DEVELOP - Oversee camps, clinics, online registration, Academy technology and billing, and help grow player-development opportunities.
ENGAGE - Represent the Club positively, connect with all demographics of the membership, and assist with flagship tournaments and group instruction.
- Responsibilities

- Use professional expertise to curate industry-leading programs for all members.
- Deliver engaging private, semi-private and group instruction to members of varying ages, abilities and experience levels.
- Provide club fittings as needed.
- Maintain the Academy, equipment and technology.
- Use TrackMan, video analysis and current training aids effectively to provide understandable, evidence-based feedback.
- Attend meetings and participate in the organization and provision of group instruction, both for members and other groups as requested.
- Represent the Club in professional tournaments from time to time.
- Oversee the online registration process for all camps and clinics.
- Oversee all billing for camp and clinic instruction.
- Develop Member Communications throughout the season.
- Submit lesson charges on a timely basis (monthly).
- Play with all demographics of the membership without interfering with professional services rendered.
- Assist with flagship tournaments such as the Men’s and Women’s Member Guests.
- Collaborate with the Director of Golf and Professional Team to identify member needs, promote programming and strengthen participation.
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Class 'A' member in good standing.
- 5+ years running camps and clinics.
- TrackMan expert.
- Coaching specialization considered an asset.
- TPI designation considered an asset.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Passionate about instruction and creating a world-class program.
- Approachable, encouraging and team-oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

$45,000 retainer, 90% Revenue Share with expected Annual Income of $125,000+
