- Job Summary
- The Head Professional plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of Redwoods including overseeing the Golf Shop, guest services, teaching programs and corporate events as well as working closely with other team leaders to ensure that Redwoods provides an extraordinary guest experience every time.
- Responsibilities

The Head Professional will report directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the following:
Operations
- Managing all golf course operations
- Leading a team of approximately 30 employees
- Recruiting, training, and supervising all golf staff, including the golf professionals, golf shop, starters, marshals and driving range
- Overseeing the operation of all practice facilities, maximizing the facility's potential
- Maintaining the POS and tee time systems
Pro Shop Management
- Managing Golf Shop inventory, sales planning, and guest offerings
- Providing a warm and memorable customer service experience
Clinic and Lesson Program
- Developing and managing all junior clinics, camps, and programs currently in place as well as expanding the junior golf offerings
- Overseeing the execution of private lessons and adult golf clinics with our golf professional team
Tournament Coordination
- Implementing and coordinating Redwoods staff for corporate and charity golf tournaments
- Attending meetings with in-house tournament organizers
- Executing all corporate and charity golf events
- Qualifications

- PGA Class A Member in good standing with a minimum of two years of management experience
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours throughout the golf season including some weekends and holidays
- Effective leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team to exceed their goals
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, and execution skills
- Ability to solve complex and unique customer service problems

The Redwoods Golf Course offers a competitive compensation package based on experience, as well as an excellent benefits package.
Salary ranging from $76,000 - $90,000 (negotiable)
