Job Summary
The Head Golf Professional will oversee all aspects of golf operations, including member engagement, tournament management, instructional programs, staff supervision, and merchandising. This individual will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while upholding the traditions and excellence of Wolf Run Golf Club.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement instructional programs, including private lessons, clinics, and junior golf programs.
  • Plan and execute club tournaments, member events, and outings.
  • Manage and mentor golf shop staff, outside services, and teaching professionals.
  • Oversee merchandise selection, sales, and inventory management for the golf shop.
  • Maintain strong relationships with members and guests to enhance the overall experience.
  • Work closely with course maintenance and clubhouse staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and enforce club policies
  • Stay current on industry trends, equipment, and best practices to enhance offerings.
Qualifications
  • PGA Class A certification required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Head Professional or Assistant Professional at a high-quality facility.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills.
  • Experience in tournament operations, golf instruction, and retail management.
  • Proficiency with golf-related technology, including tee sheet software and POS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for growing the game of golf and fostering a positive club culture.
Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience. $60,000-$70,000
