Head Golf Professional: Lakepoint Golf and Country Club - Charlie Lake, BC

Lakepoint Golf and Country Club is located on the shores of Charlie Lake, minutes from Fort St. John. We were established in 1958 as a 9-hole golf course and in 1974 we hired Norman Woods to design our second nine, and redesign the original. He has left a very fun and memorable tree lined layout in a beautiful setting with great views, voted as Northern BC’s best. We also offer a driving range, practice putting green, and a full-service clubhouse.

We typically have 300+ members, public green fee play, and host a variety of corporate and club events. Proudly many of our events have charitable aspects which are mostly geared to local organizations, and the support we receive from the community is incredible. Lakepoint is trending very positively with a good base of core employees and patrons, and we are looking to continue the momentum.

The golf course is generally open early/mid-May to mid-October, and we do have two golf simulators for our winter season, so the term of employment is very flexible.

Fort St John is known as The Energetic City with lots of industry, and a very strong local economy. Additionally, the Peace Country offers expansive 4 season living with recreational opportunities abound.
