John Blumberg Golf Course is currently seeking a qualified head golf professional. John Blumberg was established in 1967 and has some very scenic holes on the Assiniboine River. The course has cleaned up nicely and has proven to be a desirable course to play. The course is located on #1 Highway just minutes west of Winnipeg in the growing community of Headingley.

- Head Pro will be reporting to G.M. on a weekly basis
- Responsibilities

- Stock and promote product sales in pro shop
- Provide above average service to all members and guests of John Blumberg
- Supervise and organize day to day operations of pro shop
- Employees and volunteers
- Starters and marshals
- Oversee daily retail operations including receiving new products and inventory controls
- Reconcile daily tee sheets, perform check-ins and receive payments
- Ensure cleanliness and operation of retail shop and storage spaces
- Play and promote the game of golf
- Represent club in professional manner
- Report expenses and keep within budget
- Promote sales and offer sales promo ideas
- Qualifications

- Must have 5-7 years experience as head pro (proven) with references
- Must be a member in good standing with PGA of Canada
- Experience running tournaments and leagues
- Experience organizing, placing, and rewarding volunteers for starters and marshals
- Knowledge of GolfNow tee sheet and POS system an asset
- Available to work flexile hours
- Compensation
- John Blumberg Golf Course will offer a competitive compensation package and opportunity to stock and profit from pro shop products. $60,000.00 plus dependant on experience and work load.
