The Glencoe Golf & Country Club offers members one of Canada’s most premier private golf experiences, featuring 45 holes of golf (temporarily 36 holes during scheduled course renovations in 2026–2027) across 440 acres just west of Calgary’s city limits.

The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is seeking a dedicated Head Golf Teaching Professional to elevate our renowned instructional program. This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team of PGA Professionals, shape a culture of continuous improvement, and deliver unforgettable coaching experiences to an engaged and passionate membership base. Working directly under our Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf, you will be an energetic and outgoing individual who has extensive knowledge of the game of golf, as well as an understanding of the needs of private club members.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will be required to develop instructional programming that caters to all demographics of our membership - seeking to build a culture that encourages members to pursue continuous improvement and greater enjoyment of their golf experience.
- Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality golf instruction through comprehensive lesson programs tailored to all skill levels and member needs
- Develop and lead social, competitive, and instructional programming to enhance member experience and support retention
- Lead and support PGA Professionals in continuously developing their coaching skills by leveraging current teaching technologies and modern instructional methods
- Provide visible, engaging leadership by maintaining strong presence on the course, including during member play and Club representation at PGA events
- Collaborate on the development and management of operating and capital budgets related to golf instruction
- Monitor lesson billing, performance metrics, and program participation to ensure service excellence and growth in instructional revenue and member engagement
- Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a skilled golf coach/instructor, with preference given to experience within a private club environment
- Active PGA of Canada Member committed to ongoing professional development, demonstrated through a continued education and certifications obtained through the PGA of Canada or other international PGA programs
- Zone or National-level recognition for achievements in Golf Instruction, Teaching, or Coaching
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills to mentor, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of golf professionals
- Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Compensation

This is a full-time salaried position that reports to the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf. Commission included, the monthly salary range will be $7,000 - $10,000. The successful candidate must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
