Head Golf Professional: Silver Brooke Golf Club

Established in 2005 and located in Lisle, Ontario, Silver Brooke Golf Club features a stunning 6,600-yard, 18-hole course with bent grass tees, fairways, and greens, complemented by Temiskaming white sand. The Club proudly welcomes both the public and 100+ members and is known for its strong commitment to customer service. The 7-acre Practice Academy includes a bunker, chipping area, and putting green to support golfers of all skill levels. The course offers two distinct nines, a tree-lined front through maple, birch, and pine forest, and a more open back nine featuring water hazards. A fully licensed clubhouse with the Sterling Dining Room overlooks the 9th green and practice facility, while the patio provides scenic views of the 18th. Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, service-driven, and hands-on Head Golf Professional to lead daily golf operations. The successful candidate will be highly visible, member-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service while working alongside the team in all areas of the operation.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all golf operations including the pro shop, practice facility, teaching programs, leagues, and tournaments.
  • Work scheduled pro shop shifts and complete administrative duties as required.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Associates, Assistants, Starters, and Pro Shop staff while working collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to ensure consistent service standards and smooth daily operations.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and mentor staff through hands-on leadership.
  • Direct member events, corporate outings, and charity tournaments.
  • Oversee retail operations including merchandising, inventory control, and profitability.
  • Manage and monitor the golf operations budget and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence, leading by example in a very hands-on capacity.
  • Collaborate with ownership, management, and club committees to ensure strong communication and execution.
  • Promote a safe and professional workplace environment.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Head or Associate Professional preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a team-first mentality.
  • Service-oriented with a passion for member and guest satisfaction.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and business-minded.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage retail and operational budgets.
Compensation
  • $2,200 – $2,400 Bi-Weekly
  • Seasonal Position (36–40 Week Term)
