- Quarry Oaks is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Head Golf Professional. This role involves leading public golf operations, member engagement and retail management working cooperatively with all departments to ensure the alignment with Quarry Oaks philosophy of excellence. The successful candidate will be a visible leader and committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Responsibilities

As Head Professional - the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring creative and profitable
operations of the golf course in collaboration with the management team. They will be the visible presence
for member events, leagues, retail, instruction, and day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities (but not
limited to) are:Guest Experience:
- Support Vision, Core Values, and collaboration to enhance the Quarry Oaks experience.
- Grow strong relationships with the annual pass holders ensuring trust and confidence.
- Engage and be a visible representative in the Golf Shop and on course.
Human Resource Management:
- Support the management team in creating a positive workplace culture.
- Work with the team to create and maintain a profitable budget.
- Provide timely communication with management, members, and industry partners.
- Create and manage time schedules for Golf shop employees within budgetary requirements.
Golf Operations and Retail Management:
- Oversee and execute Leagues and all PGA managed events.
- Recruit and hire golf shop staff, develop and implement training programs, lead and inspire the team.
- Lead in purchasing, trends, merchandising and execution of opportunities. Manage inventory sales and merchandising, maintaining a profitable margin on sales.
- Collaborate and assist with tournament execution of events with the Golf Operations team.
Golf Administration:
- Oversee and administer the golf reservation system.
- Financial collaboration of the golf operations budget, ensuring goals and objectives are monitored to ensure profitability.
- Oversee and administer relationships of allied golf associations
- Qualifications

- Passion to deliver exceptional customer service to all guests of Quarry Oaks.
- Forward-thinking strategist and analytical person with sharp insight and a drive for growth.
- Strong organizational abilities. Exhibits outstanding abilities in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to manage budgets and drive revenue within Golf Course procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and golf related programs such as ‘Golf Genius’ and ‘Club Prophet.’
- Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing as a Class ‘A’ Member
- Compensation
- $75,000 + based on experience and year-round work.
