Job Summary

Tower Ranch Golf Club is seeking the services of a highly motivated Apprentice Professional for the 2022 golf season. The successful candidate will have a leadership role in the golf shop and must be able to provide the high level of service expected by our members and guests.

Responsibilities

Consists of but not limited to:

Provide excellent communication, customer service, professional advice and assistance to all guests
Oversee the daily tee times and maintain the pace of play on the course
Be responsible for the effective management of the first tee
Ensure guest check-in and fee collection
Oversee outside service staff, starters and marshals
Assist in the receipt, display, inventory control, promotion and sales of merchandise
Conduct and maintain a professional image and manner at all times
Promote all club activities and services
Oversee and lead the team for both our Men’s and Ladies nights
Implement a teaching program at Tower Ranch

Qualifications

Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Strong merchandising and retail skills
Excellent computer skills
Energetic and motivated to succeed in the Golf Industry
Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude
Available to work all shifts

Compensation

Salary $22- $24 hourly based on experience (160-170 hrs/month)
80% of Lesson Revenue (potential to earn $12,000++)
