Glen Eagle wants to improve its senior management. Glen Eagle is looking for either an Assistant General Manager (to train with the existing team to become the General Manager in the near future) or a qualified General Manager. There is no urgency to this hire. Glen Eagle hopes to add to its team for the 2025 golf season. Glen Eagle is also willing to hire the right candidate immediately.
The role of Assistant General Manager is to manage all aspects of Glen Eagle’s operations alongside the existing team and to develop into the role of General Manager of Glen Eagle. The role of General Manager is to be responsible for the overall management and operations of the business immediately. The position includes:
• Full-time, year-round employment.
• Evening and weekend work during peak season and special projects.

- Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Glen Eagle team.
• Develop and implement Glen Eagle’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Evaluate, lead, and work with all golf operations, greens, food and beverage, and administrative staff.
• Plan and implement ongoing golf course, facility, and operational improvements.
• Monitor financial objectives and reporting.
• Understand extensively Glen Eagle customers, community, and competitors.
• For the Assistant General Manager to develop the skills and leadership required to become the General Manager within a season or two.
- Qualifications

• Five or more years of management experience (preferably in the public golf sector).
• A university degree.
• Significant golf knowledge and familiarity with golf in the GTA.
• Extensive experience coordinating and running golf tournaments and other social events/functions.
• Experience with food and beverage operations, marketing, budgeting, financial planning, and team management/leadership.
• Excellent business acumen and ability to effectively manage, lead, and supervise large teams.
- Compensation
- Salary Range: $70,000 to $120,000 (or more) plus other benefits based on experience.
