BELVEDERE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB is nestled minutes east of Edmonton and south of Sherwood Park, Alberta. It is a private, member-owned Club founded in 1964. Belvedere is a wonderful wooded, hilly, and challenging eighteen holes complete with a beautiful re-designed Clubhouse facility.

Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY
To provide comprehensive strategic, financial, and operational oversight for the Belvedere Golf & Country Club providing guidance and oversight of the Club’s Leadership Team.

The work is guided and approved by the Club’s Board of Directors through its Executive Committee. The GM will oversee all aspects of the Club including activities and relationships between the Club and the Board, members, guests, employees, community, government, and industry.

The GM is responsible for achieving predetermined Strategic Sustainability plan and whilst ensuring the Club’s overall financial success.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Full-time year-round employment
• Location at Belvedere Golf & Country Club
• Some evening and weekend work required during peak season, emergencies, and special projects.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Seven years of progressive executive level leadership.

2. Financial literacy.

3. Familiarity with the private golf sector.

4. Relevant university degree in Management, Finance or related.

5. Strong oral and written presentation skills. a. Enthusiastic, positive, and flexible personality
