General Manager: Bearspaw Golf Club - Calgary, AB

Bearspaw Golf Club  ("BGC") is located on over 200 acres on the outskirts of northwest Calgary in the Rocky Mountain foothills. It is an extremely challenging 18 hole championship course with a new clubhouse, two state of the art simulators, a full driving range equipped with Top Tracer technology, a short game facility, a games room and other great clubhouse amenities.

BGC is the successor to Bearspaw Country Club Ltd. ("BCC"). BCC was placed into receivership in May of 2018 and Bearspaw Equity Ventures Limited ("BEVL") acquired the assets of BCC from the receiver in October of 2019. BCC was a private club. BGC has operated as a semi-private club since October of 2019 but always with a view to returning to private club status as soon as it is able to do so.

To date, BGC has sold approximately 260 memberships with a goal of 500 memberships and successfully completed its new clubhouse in time for the 2021 golf season. BEVL is a private for-profit corporation owned by 13 investors, most of whom are former private members of BCC.

BGC has been managed by an affiliate of Windmill Golf for the past three years, but the management agreement is ending on December 31, 2022, and is not being renewed and, therefore, BEVL is searching for its own independent General Manager.
