Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager / Director of Golf will have full operational oversight and the opportunity to influence long-term vision, capital planning, and member experience.

- Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:
- Serve as a visible, engaged, and approachable leader who embodies the Club’s values and sets high standards for performance, accountability, and culture.
- Inspire, empower, and develop a leadership team while fostering collaboration and trust.
- Address performance constructively and consistently, aligned with the Club’s standards.
- Collaborate closely with the MN Member Advisory Committee, providing presentations, updates, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Member & Guest Experience:
- Champion a culture of personalized service, connection, and community.
- Ensure excellence and consistency across golf operations, food & beverage, and events.
- Build relationships that reinforce MN as a welcoming, vibrant, and prestigious Club.
- Foster trust and confidence through transparent communication and exceptional service.
Communication & Representation:
- Ensure clear, proactive, transparent communication regarding plans, progress and change.
- Keep Ownership and key stakeholders fully informed.
- Represent MN as a leading organization within the Harmony community, strengthening goodwill and the Club’s reputation.
Governance, Strategy & Financial Oversight:
- Develop and execute strategic plans that support long-term sustainability and excellence.
- Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
- Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and capital planning with a focus on efficiency, value, and long-term improvement.
- Direct maintenance, enhancement, and utilization of all Club facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Plan and deliver capital projects on time and within budget.

- Qualifications

Required:
- Senior leadership experience as a General Manager, Director of Golf, or Executive Professional
- Proven success in private club management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience hosting competitions, member events, and tournaments
Assets:
- Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada

Mickelson National offers a highly competitive, year-round compensation package, including:
- Competitive base salary (minimum $120,000, commensurate with experience)
