General Manager
The City of Vernon, nestled in the North Okanagan, is surrounded by mountains, lakes, orchards and vineyards. Vernon is a vibrant community with full amenities including year round recreational activities. The semi-arid climate makes for four distinct seasons all of which make Vernon one of Canada’s premier destination playgrounds. As part of that culture the the Vernon Golf and Country Club has had deep roots in the community for over a century. VG&CC is a going concern with over 600 members and has hosted many provincial championships over the years. The newly renovated modern clubhouse offers stunning views of the course, extensive patio, and the tranquil sound of the murmuring creek that meanders its way through the course.
The classic, championship par 72 course plays longer than the 6609 yards that the scorecard states. Towering lombardi poplars and mature weeping willows have stood guard over the beautiful parkland setting and witnessed many progressive changes over the years. The golf club is a member funded society, is financially sound and provides an all-inclusive atmosphere for the competitive and social alike.
