Job Summary

As part of our continued mission to help golfers play better, GOLFTEC is hiring to expand our presence in Dubai and the GCC. You will accelerate your coaching career via GOLFTEC's industry-leading professional development, global web-based training, frequent peer interactions with like-minded coaches, and having a singular focus on coaching in your workday.

Our rapid growth, in new regions like the GCC based in Dubai, provides excellent advancement opportunities for the career minded individual looking to grow with the company as we expand.

Responsibilities

• Use professional expertise to recommend teaching and learning content and create custom lesson plans for students of varying skill levels

• Recommend appropriate GOLFTEC services for each student, including TECFIT Club Fitting, outdoor playing lessons, short game lessons, etc.

• Document each lesson given and publish recaps to our online portal using GOLFTEC’s proprietary teaching software Maintain GOLFTEC Training Center, equipment, and technology

• Participate in continuing education to enhance skills

• Participate in marketing and promotional activities as requested

Qualifications

• PGA of Canada member or member of any recognized PGA globally in good standing with a strong passion for teaching Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills

• Mobility is an essential function of this career. Coaches generally need physical capabilities to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for sometimes extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds

• A college diploma or bachelors degree is required for the visa processes of the UAE government

• Valid passport for at least 3 years remaining from start date

• No criminal record by UAE law

Compensation

• Base salary 11,000 AED monthly

• 15% commission on lessons taught

• 7% commission on club sales

• Base Salary paid on the 30th of the month

• Commission paid on the 15th of the following month

• 4 weeks annual vacation leave paid

• Return flight home and back to Dubai annually paid

Benefits/Perks

• There is no income tax deduction in the UAE

• Training twice at GOLFTEC HQ in Denver including flights, hotel, transfers, most meals daily paid by company

• Flight to Dubai

• Visa process completed and paid by company by UAE law

• Comprehensive general and emergency medical healthcare paid by company by UAE law

• Emirates PGA dues paid by company
