- Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Professional Staff to deliver a best-in-class golf experience for members and guests

Support daily operations of the Golf Shop, including merchandising, inventory control, and accurate transaction processing

Check in players for scheduled tee times, ensuring accurate application of green fees, cart charges, and related fees

Assist with receiving merchandise and maintaining organized storage and display areas

Contribute ideas and expertise to enhance and continuously improve golf operations and member services

Maintain strong knowledge of the Rules of Golf, World Handicap System (WHS), equipment, apparel, teaching methodologies, and industry trends

Assist with the planning and execution of member tournaments, leagues, and events of all sizes

Enforce Club policies and standards professionally and consistently

Resolve member and guest concerns in a timely and service-focused manner

Conduct professional club fittings using TrackMan launch monitor technology

Recommend optimal equipment specifications, including club head, shaft flex, length, lie angle, loft, and grip size

Perform club building and minor repairs, including regripping, loft/lie adjustments, and shaft changes (training provided)

Educate members and guests by clearly explaining performance data and equipment recommendations

Manage custom club orders from purchase through delivery and maintain demo and fitting inventory

Coordinate and support mobile fitting events when required

Deliver high-quality private lessons, clinics, and junior camps

Play with members and represent the Royal Montreal Golf Club in professional competitions

- Qualifications
-

Passion for Club Fitting and a strong understanding of Trackman
-
Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada or actively pursuing a PGM diploma
-
Strong public relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
-
Demonstrated skill and proficiency in playing ability.
-
Knowledge of Jonas POS, GGGolf Tee Sheet, Golf Genius is an asset.

Royal Montreal Golf Club offers an attractive compensation package, based on experience, including: $1000 to $1200 depending on experience.

5-day work weeks

100% lesson revenue, including junior camps, clinics, and coaching
