Job Summary

The Vancouver Golf Club is excited to share a unique and rewarding career opportunity of Senior Associate Golf Professional to join our pro team in March 2024!

 Anticipated Start Date: We would be excited to welcome the new Senior Associate Golf Professional to the VGC team in March 2024.

Responsibilities

• Playing golf with VGC Members and striving to improve your level of play.
• Support with the management of retail operations and inventory in the VGC Golf Pro Shop.
• Collaborate with the Golf Pro Shop team in the planning and execution of all VGC tournaments and events.
• Assist with the successful operation of Members leagues and strengthening of our Junior program.
• Providing golf instruction for all skill levels, utilizing the latest technologies, and applying programming trends.
• Club fitting and basic club repairs support.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

• Successful candidates must be a PGA of Canada member in good standing.
• Member-focussed mindset with a solid understanding of the private membership golf club environment.
• Previous experience at a high-end private facility where excellence is an expectation.
• Strong member-service skills with the ability to supervise our retail operations staff from time-to-time. 
• Successful candidates are tech-savvy with a knack for keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends.
• *Bonus* Knowledge of the following software/platforms would be considered a definite asset:
  • JONAS (point of sales system)
  • Golf Genius Tournament software
  • Trackman Launch Monitor Radar

Compensation

Annual Base Salary ($50,000 – $60,000) + 100% of earned Lesson Revenue.
