Prime Golf in Nanaimo, B.C. is positioned to become the premier indoor golf facility on Vancouver Island.
Opening in 2022, Prime Golf has sought to create a welcome and inclusive environment for golfers of all backgrounds and abilities. Our goal is to not only be a fun and entertaining alternative to green grass environments, but a leading training centre, build shop, club fitting, and retail shop in British Columbia.
Currently boasting 3 full-service Trackman 4 simulators, Prime Golf is able to offer a world class experience to Vancouver Island golfers, and is currently planning a relocation and large expansion for early 2026 that will double capacity and offer more services, including a food and beverage component.

- Job Summary
- We are looking to add an Associate Professional to our team to help oversee golf operations and meet demand for instructional and fitting services. Prime Golf is a year-round facility, so the right candidate will be offered a permanent, full-time position that will grow to include daily operations duties and facilitating a junior program, clinics and events, and leagues and tournament play.
- Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations in a supervisory role, leading the customer service team from hiring, scheduling, training, and ongoing leadership.
- Manage daily 'tee sheet' of simulator bookings, lessons, fitting sessions, etc.
- Maintain high standards of customer experience/ service in accordance with Prime Golf best practices and work to implement improvements when/ where possible.
- Conduct lessons and instructional sessions, adhering to PGA of Canada standards and guidelines as well as incorporating Prime Golf systems.
- Working with ownership to improve golf shop and retail operations.
- Assist in the creation of Junior/Youth programming, like Spring Break and Summer Camps.
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing
- Either Class 'A' status, or Apprentice with at least 2 year's experience
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of working with a diverse group of students
- Experience using Trackman and/or other high-end launch monitor(s)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment /pro shop /food & beverage would be an asset
- Compensation

- $22.50 - $28.50 hourly wage for shop time - dependent on experience, qualifications, & role
- 65% of lesson revenue (negotiable)
