Mill Run Golf Club is in search of the services of an Associate/Assistant Golf Professional for the 2023 season and beyond. Mill Run provides the best customer service and course conditions in our marketplace, to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Mill Run is a unique, full service, 45-hole golf operation, with the amenities and service of a private club with over 700 members, also open to the public. Mill Run provides an extraordinary opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high paced environment focused on its membership.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist the Head Professional in the daily supervision of the Golf Operation and be an integral part of our leadership team.

The Golf Operation includes supervision of daily operations, retail, merchandising, member events and tournaments, as well as daily play. The Associate/Assistant will have year round employment and assist in our simulator operation in the winter months.

The Associate/Assistant Professional will supervise the golf operations staff and assist in hiring and scheduling of all golf staff. The successful candidate must be willing to teach private lessons, group lessons, and junior golf clinics. The ideal candidate will aspire to be a Head Professional and Mill Run will provide the experience necessary.

- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment

- Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, committed to future growth within the golf industry and the club

- Experience with merchandising, event and personnel management, and instruction

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Professional, personable and courteous with members, guests, and co-workers

- Golf Genius experience is an asset Required

- PGA of Canada member in good standing, and completed Instructor of Beginner Golfers Required

- Valid driver's license


- Lesson Revenue

- 100% of Private Instruction

- $5,000 - $10,000+ a year in teaching

- $44k-$48k Annual Salary
