Associate/Assistant Professional
The McCleery Golf course, situated in the Southlands area of Vancouver, just twenty minutes from downtown Vancouver, is seeking an Associate/Assistant Golf Professional.
McCleery is a very busy city-owned course producing almost 60,000 round per year. In addition to the championship layout designed by Ted Baker, McCleery also has a covered, stand-alone Driving Range with heated stalls.

- Take over the role of Golf Shop Manager
- Sell green fees, up-sell and cross-sell shop products and services
- Be in charge of merchandising our shop and assist with purchasing and inventory control
- Assist with scheduling, training and supervising of our support staff
- Maintain a Professional appearance, attitude and comportment
- Qualifications

The successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter looking to enrich their experience and knowledge in all aspects of our profession and:
- Be a PGA of Canada Member in good standing, with at least five years of experience
- Willing to go above and beyond in effort to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our company
- Be customer service oriented
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Be willing to follow and enforce company policies
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have excellent computer skills and a good knowledge of social media
- Is self-motivated to succeed in the Golf Industry.
- Compensation

- Wage: Up to $25.00/hour - Commensurate with experience
- Teaching permitted on your own time with the possibility of generating an additional $30,000 in annual income
