Lakepoint Golf and Country Club is located on the shores of Charlie Lake, minutes from Fort St. John. We were established in 1958 as a 9-hole golf course and have evolved throughout the years into Northern BC's Best. In 1974 we hired Norman Woods to design our second nine, and redesign the existing one. He has left a very fun and memorable tree lined layout, in a beautiful setting with great views.
Lakepoint also offers a driving range, practice green, full service clubhouse & restaurant, and a fully stocked Pro Shop that carries all major golf lines, as well as our recent addition of lululemon.

- Job Summary
- Lakepoint Golf & Country Club is seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate Golf Professional to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a passion for the game, who is willing to adapt and grow with us and maintain the level of service that we are proud to offer at Lakepoint. The Associate Golf Professional work closely with the Head Golf Professional to support daily operations, retail management, employee management, event coordination, and golf instruction.
- Responsibilities

- Assisting the Head Golf Professional with all Golf Operations
- Work with and communicate with other departments as required
- Executing tournaments, events, and leagues (Commercial League, Ladies Night, Senior League)
- Merchandising, sales, and inventory management
- Leading in the management of Pro Shop staff, marshals, and starters
- Overseeing outside services operations & staff, including the presentation of outside service facilities
- Facilitating junior program(s) & workshops
- Maintaining cleanliness and overall presentation of the Pro Shop
- Managing tee sheets and bookings using Tee-On Golf Systems
- Offer excellent customer service and engage with members and guests to foster a strong club culture
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Class “A” Member in Good Standing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage effectively
- Experience with golf shop operations, merchandising, and tournament operations
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Knowledge of Tee-On Golf Systems is considered an asset
- Club repair knowledge considered an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compensation

- $5,000 per month for 8 months (March to October)
