- Job Summary
- We are looking for a dedicated Associate/ Apprentice Golf Professional, willing to work 5 days and on occasion 6 days a week. Assist in club operations, help run the junior program, facilitate a league, aid in corporate tournaments, supervise support staff, manage proshop duties, among other club functions.
- Responsibilities
- Duties will include but not limited to: • Teaching lessons, emphasis on junior growth • Day to day operations of the club, check in of customers, ensuring high levels of service • Monitoring outside services staff • Merchandising and general upkeep of the pro shop area • Inventory control and management • A leader for our junior program/ Run a league • Ensure all staff are adhering to club policy and procedures at all times • Report to the Head Professional/General Manager • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills • Maintain a well-respected and professional image within the club, industry and the community • Proficient in all computer programs, tee-on/ golf genius being an asset
- Qualifications
- • PGA of Canada member in good standing. • Excellent communication skills both written and orally • Outgoing and energetic personality, highly motivated and a desire to grow as a Professional • Ability to work in a high paced environment, multi-task.
- Compensation
- • $3300 - $3750 per month based on experience/ 100% Lesson Revenue
