The successful applicant will join our PGA professional team while working hands-on alongside all club employees focused on providing the best resort golf experience possible.

Job Summary
The PGA Golf Professional is responsible for providing courteous and professional service to all resort guests and members at Royal Turks & Caicos Golf Club. The primary function is to work with and manage all aspects of the golf operations alongside the Director of Golf and Head Professional in a combined team effort with all employees. This is a “hands-on,” grass roots position covering all duties.
Responsibilities
  • Daily execution/management of the pro shop check-in function and monitoring of tee sheets.
  • Assist the Professional Staff with staff training and evaluation of all employees.
  • Assist with merchandising of inventory, cart fleet management, and club rental control.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities and duties of the golf operations staff.
  • Management of pace of play and starting duties.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of member, charity, and resort events.
  • Creation and execution of instructional programs, private lessons, group clinics.
  • All other duties as assigned or required as this is a “hands-on,” grass roots position.
Qualifications
  • Must be a PGA Class "A" Member” in good standing of a Recognized PGA Golf Association.
  • Computer literate with experience in POS systems. (EZSuite & EZLinks preferred).
  • Experience with Golf Genius an asset.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills possessing excellent communication skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the game, rules of golf, golf operations, and tournament operations.
  • Work effectively within a team management structure.
  • International and/or Resort Golf experience preferred.
  • Must be available weekends and holidays.
