Job Summary
Elbow Springs Golf Club is a 27-hole semi-private golf club located just west of Calgary. We are seeking an Assistant or Associate Professional for the 2026 season. The ideal applicant is an organized, motivated individual who can be a leader to all those around them. Elbow Springs also operates a Golf Academy with the potential to earn $15,000+ from instruction. The potential for winter employment also exists for the right candidate.
Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Daily Pro Shop opening and closing duties, merchandising and inventory management.
  • Organization and operation of our junior program.
  • Assist in conducting and scoring of member and non-member leagues.
  • Assist in setup/take down and scoring of corporate events.
  • Supervision of outside services staff
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada Apprentice, Associate, or Professional status (or actively pursuing)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in Pro Shop operations, including opening/closing duties, merchandising, and inventory management
  • Experience assisting with leagues, tournaments, and corporate golf events
  • Ability to organize and support junior golf programs
  • Comfortable with Golf Genius or similar tournament software (asset)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Passion for the golf industry and professional development
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and team-first mindset
Compensation
  • Hourly Wage of $18-$22 (approx. $3100-$3800/month) based on experience
  • 90% of Lesson Revenue
