Job Summary
This role is ideal for a motivated PGA of Canada professional who is passionate about the game and takes pride in delivering a first-class golf experience every day. You will play a key role in the daily operation of the Golf Shop; working closely with the Professional Team to support instruction, merchandising, tournaments, and member engagement while upholding the high service standards expected at Marine Drive Golf Club.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver a world-class experience for Members and Guests
  • Represent and promote Marine Drive Golf Club with professionalism and pride
  • Assist with merchandising, pricing, inventory control, and monthly physical counts
  • Provide club fitting and club repair services
  • Conduct private lessons and assist with junior programs, member clinics, and camps
  • Support tournament and event operations alongside the Professional Staff
  • Play golf with members of all abilities to foster engagement and relationships
  • Lead by example and contribute positively to team culture
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Professional Shop
  • Follow all Club policies, procedures, and health and safety standards

Qualifications

  • PGA of Canada Member in good standing
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills
  • Professional, positive attitude with a team-first mindset
  • Knowledge of retail trends, merchandise, vendors, and inventory control
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and independent problem-solving
  • Private club experience considered an asset
  • Instructional experience (private lessons, junior camps) considered an asset
  • Club fitting and equipment knowledge considered an asset
  • Social media and marketing experience considered an asset
  • Experience with Jonas POS considered an asset
Compensation
  • $48,000–$60,000 annually; paid bi-weekly
  • 100% Lesson revenue (total revenue potential $25,000–$50,000)
