Associate/Assistant/Apprentice Golf Professional: Beaconsfield Golf Club

Founded in 1904, the Beaconsfield Golf Club features a historically significant and distinctive golf course that is one of the oldest in Canada to remain in its original location. Designed by legendary course architect Stanley Thompson, the Club has hosted many professional and amateur championships, including two Canadian Opens and four LPGA events.

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity for an Associate, Assistant or Apprentice Professional to work and grow professionally at one of the most prestigious private golf clubs in Canada. Successful candidate will assist the Head Professional and work alongside all members of our Professional staff and golf services team. Seeking a highly motivated, customer service orientated individual to join our team for the 2026 season and beyond.
Responsibilities
  • Spread hospitality and good will amongst all members and their guests
  • Perform duties in accordance with daily procedures
  • Coordinate and execute all member and corporate events
  • Supervise golf services personnel
  • Order, receive, price and display merchandise as required
  • Keep shop neat and tidy at all times
  • Perform minor golf club repairs
  • Play golf with all our members
  • Provide private golf instruction and assist with the Club’s junior golf program
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada member in good standing
  • Positive and engaging personality who is willing to grow as a Professional
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a passion for the golf industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience teaching all levels of golfers
  • General knowledge of tournament organization
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a high paced environment
Compensation
The Beaconsfield Golf Club offers an attractive compensation package between $850 - $1000 weekly, commensurate with the experience and quality of the successful candidate.
