Under the supervision of the Director of Golf, the Associate Professional / Tournament Coordinator will lead a team of highly motivated, energetic, and skilled individuals to manage all aspects of the golf operations and ensure service standards are being met as well as coordinate, organize, and host club events and outside tournaments. The Associate Professional / Tournament Coordinator is a seasonal full-time position with the opportunity to make 80% of lesson revenue.

- Job Summary

Assist the Director of Golf with all activities relating to the management and execution of the Pheasant Run golf operations; including, but not limited to public play, member events, outside staff service, golf shop, practice facilities, instructional programs, external tournament play.
This position will truly provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to design a role based on experience and future career aspirations.
- Responsibilities
-
● Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service throughout the pro shop, checking in golfers, accurately tendering at the register, and properly checking in all golfers prior to play.
● Responsible for making sure that all standards of operations are being met.
● Maintain control of the tee sheet and collect all guests, cart, and other fees.
● Respond to inquiries and book tee-times for members, guests, and public players, helping them do it online when assistance is required.
● Converse with members, guests, and public players in a friendly manner, developing relationships to encourage a friendly environment.
● Focus attention on members, guests and public player needs and remain calm, professional, and courteous at all times.
● Organize and promote all club events, including member, league play, corporate and charity tournaments.
●Organize, coordinate and respond to all outside events including tournaments and small group bookings.
● Support policies & procedures by spearheading efforts with all Golf Operations staff.
● Support any promotional requirements for the shop or Golf Operations in general.
● Manage aspects of outside golf operations including golf cart parking, storage, cleaning, and driving range.
● Assist with inventory controls, checking-in merchandise in accordance with procedures, organization of storage and display areas, inventory, etc.
● Perform close of business functions following established guidelines & procedures.
● Notify supervisors of member, guest, or public player complaints at the time they occur and resolve customer complaints as soon as possible.
● Perform additional duties as may arise and as may be assigned.
