Additional Details:
This is a full time salaried position that reports to the Head Golf Professional. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.

The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is looking for an Assistant or Associate Professional to join our team. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing individual who has a passion for the game of golf, and for the private club industry. As the Assistant/Associate Professional you would possess excellent personal skills, organizational skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional experiences to our members. You would also have a history of performance and behaviour that match our club’s core values.
- Responsibilities

• Organization and execution of member leagues and events
• Teaching lessons/Clinics throughout the season
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Assist with daily Golf Shop operations
• Play with the members on a regular basis
- Qualifications
-
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with the members and fellow team-mates
• Club fitting and golf instruction
• Computer skills
• Experience with the Golf Genius scoring software is an asset
• Must be a member in good standing with the PGA of Canada
• Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location
