The Silver Springs Golf & Country Club is a member-owned, private facility in Calgary, Alberta. The Club aspires to provide the best possible member and guest experience, both on and off the golf course. Silver Springs is ideally situated on an expansive, 300-acre property in north-west Calgary, only minutes from the downtown core. Silver Springs is a tree lined par 72 golf course that winds through coulees and plateaus with 5 sets of tees ranging from 4500 to 7000 yards.

Our location makes it convenient for our members to participate in golf and social experiences and feel a true sense of belonging. We have just recently celebrated our 50th anniversary and we will continue to drive culture of exceptional service, outstanding golf course conditions, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Job Summary
The Club is seeking a professional who is high energy and high efficiency, who currently attains the next level of customer service and desire to help us grow our vision of operational excellence. The candidate will possess good time management, having the ability to balance the heavy demands of the club and personal life. Strong business skills, leadership skills and organization are at a premium to be a team member of the Silver Springs Professional staff.
Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests.

• Ability to develop both pro shop and outside services teams.

• Execute strong communication skills.

• Club Fitting Knowledge is very important.

• E Mail management.

• Teaching and promotion of the game of golf

• Dealing with adversity and success.

• Approachability.

• Able to work closely with Head Golf Professional to ensure the development and execution of golfing programs and events. • Enhance the day-to-day operations.

• Club repair.

• Power cart fleet and club storage management.

• Able to enforce golf and club policies, rules, and regulations without hesitation.

• League and event management.

• Product knowledge.

• Maintaining a professional image within the club, the community, and the PGA.

Qualifications

• Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing.

• Golf Genius, Jonas, and GG Golf skills are considered an asset.

• Possess strong communication skills to be executed with members, volunteers, and other employees at the club.

• An understanding of an equity club operation and culture.

• League management.

• Club Fitting and technology is very high priority for the successful candidate.

Compensation

• Salary of $3,500.00/Month in a 9-month position, with opportunity to move to 12 months in 2024.

• 100% of lesson revenue, 2 Hours per shift provided for teaching and coaching.
