Job Summary

The Goose Hummock Golf Resort is looking for an assistant/associate for the 2023 season.

Responsibilities

- Assist in delivering a first class golf experience

- Assist with leagues, golf programs and outside events

- Daily tee sheet and POS operation using the Tee on System

- Sales and merchandising

- Assist in managing the backshop staff

- Running day to day ladies league operations

- Creating a strong junior program

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills

- The ability to solve problems quickly

- Ability to deliver high customer service to the public and membership

- Merchandising and retail experience an asset

- Outgoing and positive

- Willingness to learn and grow as a professional

- Member (or Apprentice) in good standing with the PGA of Canada

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Passion and enthusiasm for the golf business

- Team player

Compensation

- Base monthly Salary $2,900 -$3,200 – 7 months April 1 to October 31
