Devon Golf & Conference Center, set along the scenic valley of the North Saskatchewan River. It first appeared in 1954 as a 9 hole golf course, built for the oil workers servicing Leduc’s #1 oil field. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1970. Golfers who visit Devon will find narrow, tree-lined fairways that closely follow the natural contours of the river valley providing a challenge for all levels of golfer.

Located within 30 minutes from Spruce Grove, St Albert, Leduc and Edmonton area we draw a wide range of golfers to the area. We are seeking the services of PGA of Canada Assistant/Associate Professional with a commitment in the Golf Industry for the 2023 season and beyond.

Job Summary
The Assistant/Associate Golf Professional is responsible for delivery of exceptional service to all members, guests and visitors to the golf course. The successful candidate will be working alongside the proshop staff and General Manager on daily basis and must bring a positive influence to our team.
Responsibilities

• Day to Day operations of the golf shop

• Member/Guest services

• Lightspeed POS system for tee time and inventory management

• Organize and assist with all league play

• Overlook outside services team including player assistants

• Organize and work with all tournaments & events

• Teaching, Members, Public and Junior Clinics

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills

• Merchandising and Retail Sales Experience

• Proficient Computer Skills (Lightspeed system)

• Leadership and Supervisory Capabilities

• PGA of Canada Member in good standing

• Event Coordination and Planning

Compensation
  • $2,800 - $3,200
  • Lesson revenue with a potential to make $3,000 + per season
  • Percentage of Junior Camps
