The Fredericton Golf Club is a semi-private golf club nestled conveniently in the heart of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Since 1916, we have been providing members and guests a quality golf and social experience by delivering superior playing conditions, service, and amenities. We have a club house with restaurant, full-service pro shop, PGA of Canada teaching staff, and an exceptional 18-hole layout. We offer a range of social and competitive playing opportunities and have highly active men’s and women’s leagues and a newly revamped junior program. Our online booking system allows easy access to the course, and we boast an exceptional pace of play. The facility continues to improve with having rebuilt four greens in 2019 by the renowned golf course architect Rod Whitman and his design team.

- We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and assist with the day-to-day operation of our proshop and outside services The apprentice/assistant professional will be bring a passion and commitment to provide industry leading service to the membership. The position will require an individual who wishes to progress in the industry and shows an interest in their own professional development. Opportunity to grown within the organization to be provided to successful applicant.
- Responsibilities

The apprentice/assistant professional will be responsible and accountable but not limited to the following:
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Pro Shop
- Organize, develop, and grow our strong Junior Program
- Assist with merchandising and promotion of brands offered
- Assist with club fitting and staying educated on the latest technology from all manufacturers
- Assist with Member Leagues and Events
- Assist in Teaching, Growing and Promoting the Lesson and Coaching Programs
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing
- Passionate and highly motivated individual, with a desire to learn and grow as a golf professional
- Knowledge of ChronoGolf/LightSpeed an asset, but not required
- Knowledge of Golf Genius an asset, but not required
- Compensation

- $575-$750 Weekly, based on experience
- 100% of lesson revenues
