- We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as an Assistant/Apprentice Golf Professional. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to advance their career in golf operations. He or she must be able to work in a high paced environment with a good understanding of what is required to work at a semi-private facility.
- Responsibilities
-
• Assist and organize the execution of club events and tournaments
• Operate the first tee efficiently and provide professional customer service to members and guests
• Assist with purchasing, promotions, sales, and inventory control processes
• Instruct golf lessons to variety of clientele and lead junior clinics/camps
• Assist the development of our growing junior programs
• Supervise, train and assist outside service staff to ensure proficient customer service
• Encouraged to play with membership
- Qualifications
-
The following attributes will be an asset:
• PGA of Canada member in good standing
• Experience instructing various levels of golfers, private and group coaching
• Experience assisting with an active junior golf program
• Experience organizing and executing club events and tournaments
• Computer competency, Microsoft Word, Excel, Golf Genius, POS system knowledge
• Flexible regarding work schedule
- Compensation

• Wage range of $20-22/hr
• Retain 70%-90% of teaching revenue
