Job Summary

Two Eagles Golf Course is seeking to fill the position of Assistant Golf Professional. Two Eagles Golf Course & Academy is located 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna in the heart of the sunny Okanagan. We are an active facility averaging 52,000 rounds of golf per season.

The successful candidate must be able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. There is great opportunity to advance your teaching career by contributing to our thriving Academy programs.

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily Pro Shop operations
    • manage daily tee sheet and sales
    • daily Pro Shop tasks including opening and closing produces
    • assist with general golf course inquiries
    • assists with receiving and displaying inventory
    • be actively involved in sale programs and have margin awareness
    • assist in weekly golf course events and leagues
    • help maintain the first tee operations and pace of play
    • arrive on time in a professional manner for your shift
    • develop knowledge about the property, course, business and merchandise

 

  • Plan, promote and carry out various Academy programs

    • assist with group programs
    • actively market yourself for individual lessons

      • Spring Break Camp

      • Weekly and monthly programs
  • Continue to grow your knowledge of club fitting and club repair
    • custom club fitting - use of launch monitors

Qualifications
  • A member in good standing within the PGA of Canada
  • 1-3 years teaching experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Open and welcoming personality
  • Innovative
Compensation
  • $20-$25/ per hour, depending on experience
    • 25 to 35 hours per week of shop hours depending on the time of season
