We are currently hiring an individual to join our Golf Operations team in the Assistant Professional role for the 2023 season. With Copper Creek continuing to be one of the top ranked public golf courses in the GTA and Canada it is our goal every day to exceed customer expectations.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who services driven, outgoing with a strong desire to progress and excel within the industry. The ideal candidate should possess a willingness to learn and a team-oriented mentality.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Golf Professional will report to our Director of Golf and our Head Golf Professional

• Oversee all Golf Services Operations

• Assist with Pro Shop Merchandising, Retail Sales and Inventory

• Develop Strong Relationships with our Corporate Partners, Members and Public Golfers

• Assist the Tournament Coordinator in delivering a first-class golf experience for all tournaments and event guests

• Help to develop new policies and procedures with regards to Pro Shop and Golf Services operations

• Work with our Health & Safety committee to continue improving safety standards

• Monitor pace of play and frequent on course visits providing public relations

• Maintain excellent customer service on a daily basis and promote that service within all departments of the club

• Opening and closing of the golf shop and backshop

• Working with Point of Sale and completing daily financials

• To teach and promote the game of golf

Qualifications

• CPGA Member in good standing or Candidate for CPGA Membership

• Current PGM Student or alumni

• Strong background in customer service

• Knowledge of JONAS and Golf Genius is an asset

• Must have strong computer skills and strong communication skills

• Positive work ethic and attitude

• Can succeed in a team atmosphere and work independently

• Available to work 5-day work weeks

Compensation

• $850-$950 Weekly/Salary

• 80% of Lesson Revenue
