Assistant Professional: Caledon Country Club - Caledon, ON

Caledon Country Club, established in 1960, is a fully public 18-hole golf course on a scenic 330 acres of property. Caledon CC also has the best-in-class six indoor HD golf simulators, a resto-bar, as well as breathtaking locations for outdoor and indoor events for up to 500 people. Designed by one of the most prolific Canadian golf course designers, Rene Muylaert, the golf course measures 6505 yards from the back tees, has a 135 slope and 72 rating. The club is situated just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, 15 minutes north of Brampton, 25 minutes north of Mississauga and 20 minutes from both Georgetown and Orangeville.

Job Summary
The Assistant Professional will assist in the daily golf operations including customer interaction, facility management, tournament execution and services to ensure an outstanding golf experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
  •  Provide excellent customer service and assistance to all members, passholders and guests.
  •  Answer phone calls, book tee times and assist customers daily.
  •  Assist in retail operations.
  •  Assist in tournament coordination.
  •  Conduct daily cash receipts and opening/closing golf shop operations.
  •  Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
  •  Facility management, including bag drop, back shop, golf carts, driving range and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all areas are neat and tidy.
  •  Golf simulator management/upkeep.
Qualifications
  •  Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  •  Must be computer literate. - Excellent communication skills.
  •  Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf.
  •  Must have a willingness to learn.
  •  Work effectively in a team setting.
  •  Must be available to work in the winter months (golf simulators).
  •  Attention to detail.
  •  Passion for golf.
